When I published my initial reading list at the start of the year, I didn’t think we’d still be experiencing bouts of lockdown here in Australia. But here we are in Melbourne, in the middle of yet another lockdown and i’m wondering how it’s already June. I’ll be honest – I haven’t kept up with my reading list this year. In fact, i’ve lost my reading mojo and I want it back!
What better way to rekindle my reading passion by revising the initial list I had in January. I’ve whittled it down from 34 books to 20 books which I think is manageable for the remainder of the year. It’s a combination of light-hearted books, business books and faith books. I’ve split the list into 6 sections to make things easier: business, faith, fiction, memoir, non-fiction and personal development.
Business
- Building A Story Brand by Donald Miller
- Stories That Stick by Kindra Hall
- The 4 Essentials Of Entrepreneurial Thinking by Cliff Michaels
- The Lean Startup by Eric Ries
- The Parallel Entrepreneur by Ryan Buckley
Faith
- Stronger Than The Struggle: Uncomplicating Your Spiritual Battle by Havilah Cunnington
- The Next Right Thing by Emily Freeman
- The Power Of A Praying Woman by Stormie Omartian

- Don’t Point That Thing At Me (Charlie Mortdecai #1) by Kyril Bonfiglioli
Memoir
- A Coat Of Yellow Paint by Naomi Davis

- Monsieur Mediocre by John von Sothen
- Joyful: The Surprising Power Of Ordinary Things To Create Extraordinary Happiness by Ingrid Fetell Lee
- The Curated Closet by Anuschka Rees

Thanks for taking the time to read through my list. Let me know if any of these books pique your interest. Have you read any exciting books this year? If yes, do share in the comments as i’m always adding books to future reading lists.

I’m reading grit and its jam packed with the good stuff.
Highly recommend it!
